Prednisone 10mg Overdose

I misread the instructions..they read take 3 tables by mouth daily 3 times a day. I took 3 tables in the morning and 3 tables in the afternoon. As soon as I realized my mistake and took no more tables.

No, going by those instructions, you should be taking 9 tablets a day, 3 at a time, spread throughout the day, which is a normal dosage to treat certain conditions. It is always best to double check with your doctor or pharmacist, but that is the way they are stated.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, fluid retention and weight gain.
