Prednesone Stopping Absorbtion Of Methadone

My doctor will not believe me. When I take prednesone then methadone, the methadone does not seem to work at all.
Now if I wait until then next day, putting up with pain all night long, the methadone does work the next day.
Does anyone have any medical literature on this topic?
ASAP please, she has me on 5 mg t.i.d. Down from 10 mg t.i.d. The ten barely worked, why she would think 5 mg will work is beyond me.

I sent a secure message to the doctor just now. (VA website)
My rheumatologist believe me that I am in pain. My fingers spasm and lock in the evening and night it the worst.
She cannot prescribe anything for me but anti inflammatories. I am on warfarin because I have two mechanical valves, so there are a lot of drugs I cannot take.
My Uric acid leves are astronomical. Those are her words. They started me on allopurinol, but as you know that will take a year to work.
They had me on morphine, but I was eating them like candy, with no effects at all.
So I went from ms 15 mg t.i.d. And ms IR 15 mg t.i.d. The other was SR
From all that to methadone 5 mg t.i.d. And I m on omeprazole and prednesone both I know stop methadone absorbtion. But cannot get this VA doctor to believe me.
It my primary care physician. Not my rheumatologist, who can't do anything.
