Practin And Decdan Side Effect (Top voted first)

hi sir i am 27 years of age and two months married. I am taking both practin n decdan tablet from last three years to gain weight because I was too thin 40 kg and now my weight is 56 kg n now I came to know about the side effect of those tablet. ..so now last two weeks i have stoped eating those tablet....may I know sir wil I suffer any medical problem...or any kind of other problem. ..please sir suggest me some gud advise wat to do I m very much in tension ...wat should I do gain weight please advise me sir please

From what I can tell, both Practin (Cyproheptadine) and Decdan (Dexamethasone) may cause withdrawal symptoms if you were to suddenly stop taking either one of them abruptly. So if you wanted to avoid such symptoms or at least lessen the severity of them, I would encourage you speak with your doctor about setting up a tapering plan in order to make it an easier transition.

And concerning weight gain, it sounds to me like your best bet would be to focus on making changes to your diet and exercise habits first, since this is (in my opinion) the foundation for "body building" - not necessarily referring to body-builders who compete, but building up your body is essentially what you'd be doing by gaining weight. Proper nutrition and regular exercise are key!

Hi I was also addicted to those medicine
I had it for 4 year continuously. Yes side effects are there .
But I got married and have a baby girl too so don't worry about this side particularly.
But u shd stop having this
