Potency Concern (Top voted first)

Why has this pill shrunk in size?I remember not too long ago The generic Watson 7.5 oval pill was a lot larger. Was the ingredients tampered with ? Please answer honestly as I've been informed that the potency of the drug has been reduced. If so. I'm not at all pleased,

According to Actavis (formerly known as Watson), they simply removed the dye in this newer formula. And although I don't necessarily think this is the full truth based on the feedback of other patients, I do know that any substantial changes made to the "active/inactive ingredients" would certainly be reflected on the size of the tablet.

One other thing to be aware of is that generics are also known for having more binders/fillers than brand names; hence their cheaper price tag and often times, larger size. But if you're not happy with the way it has been working, I would make sure that your doctor requests a specific manufacturer on your next script to help avoid any future discrepancies in quality.
