Pota Vi Kin Penicilina V 400000 U

I have an infection within my upper respiratory system. I dosed Amoxicilin 500mg three times a day and really felt well but not perfect around the seventh day. Four days after the medication ran out the symtems returned. Very sore voice with pain in the hiatal region of my body with a 99 fever. My body temperature is normal at 97.5 or even lower at times. I only have Penicilina V 400,000 available to me so I took two (500mg) before bed. What should I dose tomorrow and for how long. Thanks for your help

Hello, Ron! How are you?

You should actually return to your doctor. It sounds like that may not have been the right antibiotic to clear this up for you, or you may have antibiotic resistant bacteria that could require something stronger.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

Well here it is six years later and I could write the same thing. People say ask your doctor. Really? Ask your doctor. Lol Just sent a sample of my mucus to Banner Lab. I could hardly wait. Yes I'm bitter with the medical system! Six years and someone finally has the mucus checked. Lol
