Post Acute Withdrawals

I been on methadone for 9 years, oxy and fentynal b4 that ! Now I been off methadone for 2 months I am now on suboxone, how long do the post acute withdrawals last I still feel horrible I mean better then I was of course but I got this ring ing on my head and wen I relax or try sleep I feel horrible! !!!! It's like there is fire in my blood and it's such a strong feeling. Anyone help please?????????

I'm having the same ringing in my ears I can't sleep and can't eat and the withdrawal is wicked. I'm on one strip a day. I'm out of clonidine now.

Hello, Ldawg! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having.

It sounds like you might not be on a high enough dosage of the Suboxone to prevent it. Some people do require a higher one, for awhile, then it can be lowered once they are past this.

Have you spoken to your doctor about the problem?

The FDA lists this mediation as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
