I have been taking plavex for about 2 years to prevent blood clotting after heart surgery the question is I sweat frequently at night after taking plavex is this a serious sign should i stop taking it?

What you really need to do is talk to your doctor to determine the cause of the night sweats. While they can sometimes be caused by medications, it could also be a symptom of some other, serious health condition.

It is also important that you not stop this medication, without your doctor's approval.
