Hello, Cecile! How are you?
If you had to have a stent placed, then there's a chance you may need to take something for life to help prevent clots.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of Plagrol (Clopidogrel) as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and constipation.
There's no way to say for sure, but you should take it, if your doctor says it's needed. It is no different than anyone else taking medications for high blood pressure or other cardiac conditions.
Is there anything else I can help with?
How do I differentiate the drug Cetirizine hydrochloride and Clopidogrel. They all have the same imprint R 196?
