my mother in law gave my daughter a pill that i dont know. my daughter is 8 and sheh said it was an oval pill that was pink on one side red on the other and white in the middle. she said her grandma said it was for asthma. can you tell me what this might be?

It sounds like the standard description of a Benadryl tablet, though I can't guarantee that without knowing the imprint, but that is what they usually look like and they work very well for asthma.
