This tablet is manufactured by Major Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 25mgs of Diphenhydramine.

The FDA classifies this medication as an antihistamine that is most commonly used to treat allergic reactions and induce sleepiness. Its typical side effects may include dizziness, drowsiness, blurry vision and dry mouth.

It is doubtful that it will help much with cold symptoms, since a cold doesn't involve histamines.
