Without any imprints, it's difficult to narrow down an identification with any certainty.

We can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured and approved prescription tablet, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. That means that it's most likely an over the counter product and that leaves it wide open to many possibilities.

Just as an example, I have some tablets matching this description sitting on my shelf right now, they contain 25mgs of Diphenhydramine, a store brand of Benadryl, which is used to treat allergies.
