round yellow pill, one side says m/f1,i have another pill that is oval it has a star on one side and says 20 on the other. thank you.

I need help identifying a pill. It is very light yellow and round, with no scoring. The only identifier is (I think) A I, on the same side. It is clearly a capital A. Next to the A is either I, or 1. It looks like a capital I, just a straight line. Thanks in advance

Mylan Pharmaceuticals lists the tablet with the M F1 marking as containing 20mgs of Famotidine, a generic for Pepcid, which is most commonly used to treat, or prevent conditions such as ulcers, GERD, heartburn, and gastritis.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, and stomach pain.

I'm sorry, but I cannot find a listing for the other that has 20 and a logo on it.

Roland, I did find one that matches the description you've provided, it is manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth and they list it as containing 12.5mgs of Zolpidem, a generic for Ambien, which is used for the short term treatment of insomnia.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, sleep actions, hallucinations, and next day hangover-live effects.
