false. I find these to be the strongest hitting, but the shortest lasting. Each and every batch may differ, however I have had the most success suffering from back surgery and chronic pain. I do not abuse them, however out of all the different generic oxy/tyl percocet brands, this seems to be the most powerful out of the generic percocet brands.

For those who believe everyone who takes pain relievers are "i**** addicts" you are wrong and the stigma you put on our backs is sickening... I fear having to go to an emergency room because of the Trolls like Alan, you see, as soon as you list your medications, they think you are there for MORE drugs.... Fix the doctor shoppers, and stop trying to take what little life I have from me... if it were not for my pain medication, I would not be alive.... I've worked a lot of cardiac arrest overdoses. Most of them a young age group between 19 to 58 at least 75 percent. Everyone is right in ways even some of the negative comments. For the person who said don't go through your sons room mixed emotions on that one cause in a way you're correct I've seen kids act out more and go to extremes when parents are nagging at them at all times. On the other hand it's the parents house you can do what makes you at ease. I would but that's me everyone has opinions I would get my child into a program if you truly feel they are taking the medication and you confirm it. I hope this helps many of you but addiction is getting worse. In my area it's suboxone and kolonipine. A drug to get you off of drugs. Some patients take it serious and many others don't. Remember narcan can be bought over the counter in many states, it's a opiod(pain medication) overdose reactant.Thank each and everyone of you guys for all you do.

If her son is a minor she had every right to go through his room. He shouldn't have this medication unless it was prescribed by his doctor with his mother's knowledge and you're an i**** if you think it's ok for him to have this if he isn't prescribed it!!!

Stupid adults who have never tried them or hypocrites that use them and act so damn innocent on the internet with their pulican religious better than thou bulls*** makes crooked politicians make more laws to limit our freedom and rights, when trillion dollar deals are being made with big pharma. Responsible adults should know their own damn tolerance. I've been taking opiates with benzodiazepines all my life and have never overdosed on these 2 PRESCRIBED medication's, so quit feeding the most corrupt. Your son has a 10 mg oxycodone pain killer used for moderate to severe pain. Unless he was prescribed this drug you need to be aware it is a strong opiate and you need to talk and get the truth. Good luck.

This is commonly called Percocet, but in this form, contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen.
It can be addictive and must be monitored by a physician.
It can only be used by prescription, and it's a felony to sell it on the open market.
Calmly find out where he got it, and discuss the ramifications of him being caught by someone other than his parent, such as a peace officer. He would likely have been handcuffed and taken for a drive in a black and white car to an office with bars as walls for some rooms.
Find out how many he's already taken, and if he's open, you should find out where he got them, and alert either parents, if you know and trust them, or the police. This isn't a trivial matter.

Duh. Exactly the opposite. A parent should know if their child is screwing around with a controlled substance such as oxycodone. I have a 14 year old son and I check his desk and his room whenever I damn well want to to make sure that he is keeping himself away from illegal substances and healthy. Especially because 10 mg is a high dose. This is the stupidest comment I've ever seen on a medication website you're obviously not a parent and very ignorant on the topic of addiction

And they're so stupid they make it so obvious so mothers like me respond to them to let them know that this particular mother who posted this question is certainly not the only parent who is on top of their kid so they can actually stay alive
