Are there any markings on it?

The FDA requires U.S. prescription tablets to have unique markings on them to enable them to be identified, in case of emergency. This enables them to be traced back the manufactured, so you can discover the ingredients, and dosage.

If there are no markings, it is most likely an over the counter product, however, there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication.
