The pill is yellow one side has the letters JSP the other side is scored with the numbers 5 and 6. They were sent to me by mail order and are supposed to be levothyroxine, but I am doubtful

Based on your description I have not found an exact match. I have, however seen something extremely similar to what you're describing. It is a round yellow pill with JSP on one side and 516 on the other side. This just happens to be Levothyroxine 0.1 mg.
Do you think it is possible that the score mark which you reported is actually supposed to be the number 1 ? Please let me know if you have any other details...
