Pill Random Counts

Last month I got called in for a pill count. I was 20 pills short due to the weather changing and my fibro causing me so much pain. I have an appt today to get a refill. What's gonna happen

Sorry to hear about your fibromyalgia pain. I feel for you, as I happen to know a few people dealing with that who can't seem to find a lasting solution to managing the pain and discomfort associated with it. Concerning your pill count, the best thing to do in my opinion is to just be sincere and honest about what you felt like you had to do in order to control peaking levels of pain. However, in many similar stories I've read here, if you don't have the amount the doctor is looking for, they've been known to either give out a warning, make false assumptions about what you're really doing with the pills, stop writing prescriptions for it, and/or cut patients off altogether... On the other hand, every physician has different policies and may be more or less reluctant to let their patients slide in the event of such discrepancies. So unfortunately the only way to know for sure is to face it head on.
