What exactly do you mean by a "tabloid at the top and brand at the bottom"? The definition of "tabloid" refers to journalism, which makes this even more confusing...
Based on your description, the only remote match I've seen is an Acetaminophen (300mg) + Codeine phosphate (30mg) tablet. It's a white round pill with a large (centered) 3 on one side and the back has a score line with "2064" on top and "V" on the bottom. The V is indicative of a product by Vintage (Qualitest) pharmaceuticals. Is that what you mean by "brand at the bottom"?
