what does a lortab look like?

I don't have pictures to post due to copyright reasons, nor can I describe what all possible Lortab or its generics look like, because there are far too many on the market for me to list them all with their descriptions, markings and dosage.

Anyone needing a pill identified….Can you please post back with the description and markings on it? If so, I will gladly check for you to see if we can discover what it contains.

The one with the Watson 349 marking contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Lortab/Vicodin and is a narcotic analgesic.

As such, there is a possibility for it to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation.

Additionally, just to add some new information… The FDA has requested that all of these combination products that combine a narcotic with Acetaminophen be lowered to only contain a maximum of 325mgs of the Acetaminophen, due to the severe risks associated with long-term use of it and overdosage.

Some manufacturers have already begun to implement the changes and they rest are expected to have done so by January 2014, so be sure to double check this information at a later date. The company may still keep this imprint, but it may no longer contain 500mgs of Acetaminophen.
