Phenylpropanolamine Content In Dynatussin

What is the content of phenypropanolamine in dynatussin capsule? Can it can cause a rise in blood pressure with a blood pressure of 125/80?

Yes, it can cause higher blood pressure as a side effect, but 125/80 is not really a high blood pressure, since normal is 120/80. The NIH lists the other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, insomnia, and headache.

Are you on any other medications? Did your doctor say it was high?
