My husband was injured 1992,He has taken EVERY pain drug(over200) I have proof, Oxycontin is the ONLY drug that gives him relief from his pain. He's had several detoxes and it only proved he'd rather take it and control the pain or let the pain control him. We are in the Medigap Hellhole and can't afford the drug-(worker's comp has abandone him) We need help and don't know where to go.

i take care of a woman who takes this, this is what it does take the pain away sure does, makes you so high you cant remember anything and fall asleep anywhere you want to talk about a difficult person to take care of. and these doctors and drug companys just keep hashing it out here take it for pain and now to find out the formula has changed now she is jittery inside and sweating hum could that be withdrawl effects. and no i am no bible thumper seen it with my own eyes. any way to make money and destroy lives with it.

I am on a Patience assistance Program thru PERDUE PHARMACY for oxycotin but their Reformulated Version does not have the same effects as the orginal oxycotin . Is there another company that offers a program for oxycotin assistance that is made with the orginal ingredients.

When God starts taking care of the horrid pain I have on a daily basis I will quit using this medication. To call the makers criminal is typical for a bible thumper. Yes people die from the drug, but the people who die are those who are the criminals. I doubt there are even a handful of death due to OD with patients who are taking the medication as directed by a real doctor not a quack who dishes out pills. Your comment would mean that car manufactures should also go to hell since they make cars that are used by people to commit crimes like bank robbery and such. I am pretty safe in assuming that you are not a suffer of a terminal illness or life long pain management patient or you would not make such a strong comment. When you have a family member with a severed spine who can not walk, control their bowles, or even bath themself who explains the pain to be similar to a hot icepick being stabbed in and out of their back bone over and over again try praying for relief and see how it gets you.

i just want to say that there might be some people out there that really need. this drug. but for the most part i think the people who make this are criminals. i have seen too many people die from over dose and seen too many peoples lives ruined because of how highly addictive oxycontin is. and if you have religious beliefs to those who make this product. god have some mercy on your souls if you still have one. thanks for ruining many of lives, i hope your mansions and cars are nice you satanic excuse for humans.

Purdue Pharm makes Oxycontin. Look them up on the web. My son, who had no insurance, and was laid off so had no income, was able to get the drug for his pain management directly from them for a $25 copay monthly. It is highly regulated and involves much medical information from the pain management doctor before being approved, but was a godsend when he needed his pain management medication. (he has a reconstructed/pieced together hip from a motorcycle accident 5 yrs ago that has failed and now has barely manageable ongoing bone & muscle pain)

Well, you can try the PPARX they provide assistance for a lot of drugs, but only if you don't have insurance.
