Do you have insurance?

If so, then I'd suggest contacting them to see if they have a mail order pharmacy that you can use. That might make it easier to get your prescription filled.

Though they weren't being enforced for quite a long time, there are actually limits on how much of any controlled substance a pharmacy can order in and have in stock each month and earlier this year, the DEA started cracking down to enforce these limits. This has caused many pharmacies to have to refuse new customers for such medications, since once they are out each month, they are out and cannot order more in, until the following month.

I am having the same trouble filling thje oxymorphine 10mg in knoxviulle tn as well no one is accepting new patients for contracts ,what are we supposae to do?

Its the same in Alabama I have been filling mine at a small pharmacy for the past yr or so, I had called a couple after I had scene post to this nature in the past and they had give me this bullsh*t story about the DEA only allowing them to fill so many scripts of oxys and methadone a month and they only had enough for there regulars(people that had been filling there for the last 6 months), so I thought maybe it was getting that way but wrote it off, then yesterday I go to fill mine, and they tell me that there pharmacist just died and they only had 6 pills and that since he was the only licensed pharmacist there that the 6 would be all I could get and they didn't know if or when they could order more, so I have spent the last 24 hrs calling every pharmacy within a hundred miles...same story...wtf... Im screwed...script but no where to fill it, Good Luck...

I have the same medication and the same problem! If you find anywhere please let me know. The only luck I've had was ordering them which could take 2 weeks and I really can't spend the next 2 weeks in bed!

There seems to be a problem with all the major chains for the month of May here in south Florida. My pharmisits said they are on back order. Yeah, no problem waiting for a pain med as import as MS Contin or Oxycodone for two weeks. I just don't understand a shortage. The DEA has done a great job in keeping these meds out of the hands of people who really need them but still can't keep the steady flow of H, coke and other drugs off our streets. It truly is a shame the way in which this country treats it sick an elderly.

I posted about the oxycodone, and what florida says they are doing about this problem, although it will take years, and none of us have years, and have already been through years of aggravation, and getting zero accomplished in filling.
So in Daytona, if you don't get in with a pharmacy and pay 10 times the amount you'd pay at walgreens or Walmart, who wont fill, . then hopefully you can find a good mail in which i have not. Worried about this months meds, for sure, cause i'm right back to the pharmacy crawl, after onlly two months of a mail in , but now i have no insurance. Here i go again, but I agree with the lady who says it's too expensive, to even pay your visit, cause you either have to pay too much for the meds, or cant fill them at all.

Same in ohio..limited to customers that have been on list 6 months or longer i went 56 miles one way to get methadone filled.

Bradenton, FL is just as bad as anywhere else. Walgreens, CVS and walmart, wont take my scripts because my dr is from another town, but they have 1 fairway pharmacy, which is excards now or Advanced pharmacy on 26th st w, there are a few more mom and pop shops.....but the big ones all suck. Don't shop there. This is all the DEA's fault. They are looking to bust pharmacies and pain dr.'s. They got money...

If you're in real pain, just pray and ask God for help. He will help you get your meds, that's what has helped me from going without. It's not always easy, but God can make a way!
