Pet Tinic
UpdatedI purchased a Ragdoll in May. She at first she was given a clean bill of health with the exception of herpes viral in the eyes. We tried three meds, all made her squint to the point where she couldn't open her eyes. Last week she had blood drawn so we could have her altered. They said she has nonregenerative low red blood cells. Does this mean she can't be spayed? They gave me liquid tinc to give to her 1/8 teaspoon twice a day to see if this will increase her red blood cells. If it works would it be permanent or something we'd have to give her forever?
She eats well, has put on healthy weight and is very very active. She was born Feb. 8 of this year. It stymies the docs as to why a kitten this healthy would have nonregenerative red blood cells. Any answers?? Thanks sooo much
