So this is my 4th month on this pill and it's the 2nd time (not counting the first month) that I got my period on the active pill. Is that normal? I'm tired of having my period so often. Can I just stop taking them right now and start the new pack when I'm done with my period? Or skip the other pills and keep taking the blue ones?

If you're in the 4th month and still getting irregular bleeding, then you should consult your doctor as this may not be the right oral contraceptive for you to take. Usually, these issues only persist for the first 3 months.
The FDA lists other typical side effects or oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, weight gain and PMS-like symptoms.
