my wife passed this fall from a pericarial hemorrhage due to angioplasty surgery should the drug noveseven been used.

This is usually used in people that have a congenital deficiency in this genetic factor, to help make sure they clot properly after surgery. If she had this deficiency, there would have been much greater risk if they didn't use anything to try to help her clotting improve.
