Can i take the pill even though i have a heart murmur?
and didn't speak with my doctor?
and would i get any side effect from it which i should be concern?

Periactin is not actually intended to be used to gain weight and you shouldn't use it for that, unless your doctor has specially instructed you to do so.

It contains the active ingredient Cyproheptadine, which is an antihistamine, weight gain is just a side effect that it may cause with long-term use.

You also will likely not keep the appetite increase and weight gain once you stop taking it.

It also causes the risk of other serious side effects.
