Percocet Vs Norco (Page 8) (Top voted first)

I'm taking percocet 10/650mg. I have (DDD), (Athritis), and the list goes on. I have a friend on Norco. Can you tell me what the difference is between them and the highest mg the norco comes in? THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Just stop eating!! I was once over weight. I weighed 265lbs. And I quit stuffing my face for 2 years. I lost 95lbs and I am 170. The reason people are over weight is NOT because they don't exercise. It is because they see food as a treat, or an activity. Stop looking at food like an event. It is just to stay alive. Eat healthy and eat as little calories as you can. Bulemia and Anorexia are much safer disorders than being obese. I would rather see people purging and losing all those life threatening pounds than stay obese. When a medical emergency happens, overweight people die. The people who die from bulemia and anorexia are people who have body dysmorphic syndrome. That is when they see fat in the mirror when they are actually very skinny. Unless you have this, eating disorders are non-addictive practices that can be stopped at any time. I'm probably going to get blasted for saying all of this but in truth, fat people almost always stay fat. So again I'd rather see the lesser evil than the greater one. I work in the emergency room. The people who die from emergencies are the fat ones. It just prevents the body from healing and limits the physician from doing a good job at interventions.

I agree with you! I have nerve pain and those opiod pain killers were not helping. I take bupropion which helps tremendously. People with nerve pain end up needing more and more opiod medicine as they realize they can't get relief from nerve pain.

Have you tried seeing a PM doctor? They are usually really good about trying to help control the pain. Or are you just looking for a pharmacy to fill a prescription?? If so all you have to do is call around to different pharm. and see if they have it in stock.

I have recieved over 40 plus (medical branch nerve block shots) "cortisone" in my lower back L1-L5 and many in my right SI joint.. Now still getting these shots a year and 4 months later my lower back pain is way worse, I am on 120 norco 10's a month and to me taking a percocet feels the same as taking a norco, yes percocet is stronger it has no Tylenol in it and Norco does have Tylenol just less then say Loratab. the 10-(325) the 325 is the tylenol.. if it says 10-(500) or 5-500 7.5 500 the 500 means more tylenol. I would highly recommend percocet for it is stronger if you need serious pain relief but all pain meds are seriously addictive even when taken properly.

Wow! So sick of people who think that marijuana is the cure all, save all. It's not. Do actual research other than "YouTube". It's 10x more damaging to your body than cigarettes and has been linked to and Alzheimer's among other things.

Hello,
I have Neuropathy, and have been taking Oxycodone 30 4-5 times a day. I live in Florida and now have a Hard time finding a pharmacy to get my Rx filled. My Doctor says its the feds and though he prescribes it he can't help getting it filled. Where or how can I get it filled? Also, what could be prescribed as a GOOD substitute? He's prescribed Norco 10/325 2 every 4 hrs but it doesn't work the same. Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.

I've had major back surgery done through a workers comp accident claim I had and after almost 2 years my pain is worse .. The docs I had assigned suggested another surgery ..which I thought was f***en crazy considering the outcome of the first one .. I ended up settling for a cash award be it that they told me this is something iam going to have too deal with ..big mistake ..as i know hav a problem finding a doctor to prescribe 10/325 norcs percocet .. Do u know of any Doctors in Los Angeles that will .. I also haven't spoken any of my medical records to any of these clinics around here so I don't think that hasnt helped much either ... Help!!!!

i am a bk amputie was on percocet 5 two every 4 hrs wasnt helping so they gave me norco 10 every 6 hrs. I don't understand, aren't the percocets stronger? Oh, and I think I'm allergic to Vicodin.
