Need a new physician to Rx my meds as PCP has stopped all opiod prescribing

Yes, PCPs have been restricted on what they can prescribe, if you need such a medication on a long-term, ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist.

Did you discuss this with your PCP? They should be able to refer you to someone, which could be the easiest way to find the help you need.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Does anyone know of a good doctor in that area?

If you are in the Jacksonville area, I would suggest you use Dr. Syed Hussain. His office is on 103rd street in Jacksonville and he is there for pain management only. That is who I went to after my PCP had to quit managing my pain on a long term basis. Hope this helps.
