I just got a refill of generic percocet 5/325. Last month I was given a new type that just doesn't do enough for me. Had the RP stamped on smaller 5/325 pill. My previous prescriptions were large white pills with 512 on one side with a code on bottle of MCRK.
My new prescription has the identical 512 pills but still has the newer code of MADV. SO IS THE PILL THE SAME OR NOT. Or is it made by someone else

As long as the imprint is the same, the manufacturer is the same. They are manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals.
The code on the bottle from your pharmacy isn't always the actual manufacturer, sometimes it's just a licensed distributor.
The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
