Penicillin V How Much Dosage For 100 Lbs Person

My child is 12 and 100lbs. Should I give her 500 mg or 250 mg of penicillan vk. It is for an oral infection.

This should not be given, unless her doctor has confirmed the presence of an infection and prescribed it. If she doesn't have an infection, then giving her an antibiotic creates the risk of her developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. If she does have one, it may not be the right antibiotic.

Is this a dental issue, or something else?
