Please identify a small (1/4" circumference) colored tablet with ABG imprint one side & 60 on other side. The pharmacy bottle says it's Morphine Sulfate ER 60 MG by Actavis Pharm generic for Avinza. However, this tablet looks nothing like the small green capsule in last month's bottle with the exact same details on that bottle.

This tablet is manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals and they do list it as containing 60mgs of Morphine in a time released formulation (NDC 0591-3513). So, your pharmacy just provide you with a generic that has been manufactured by a different company.
The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.
