Peacful Feeling W/ Hydromorphone

Along with relieving pain after I take it I have always gotten a very calming and "normal, natural" feeling. I don't mean a doped up "jacked up" feeling like Amphetamines or anything like that. I'm not as depressed feeling. Since I'm also being treated with Agoraphobic Depression I am yearning to feeling normal/natural again like I feel with this med. My question is, is there an ingredient in it (Hydromorphone) that is also in an over the counter supplement that will help w/ feeling normal and happy? Like St. Johns Wort I've heard so much about?..seeing this written out sounds like I could just as well wish upon a star.. in other words, "hell no there isn't"...

You're right, but I'll be more polite in my wording, no there isn't. LOL

Hydromorphone is classified by the FDA as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Thus, all such substances are controlled and available only by prescription.

What have you tried to treat your depression? Maybe if we have some idea of where you've already been, we can give you some idea of where to go next….
