Paroxetine Hcl 10 Mg
UpdatedThe Dr. prescribed me paroxetine hcl 5 weeks ago- for depression- going thru some tough times right now-I took 10 mg for the first week- then 20 mg for 2 weeks- I felt absolutely horrible when taking the 20 mg- so she told me to drop back to 10 mg again- it has been 2 weeks now on the 10 mg- and I still dont' feel "normal"- how long does it take to really start working?

It generally takes about 4 to 6 weeks for your body to adjust to any new medication, or dosage adjustment and for things to even out and the side effects to taper off.
If it doesn't improve, however, you should talk to your doctor again, because this just may not be the right medication for you.
