Panic Attack After Taking Norco 5/325

When I take Norco 5/325 they don't put me to sleep and 3 hours later I will have a panic attack. Why is that?

This is a narcotic that is used to relieve pain, so while they may cause drowsiness as a side effect, they are not intended to put you to sleep. The FDA lists its other side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

As to the panic attacks, it's hard to say, Are you on any other medications? Or do they only happen after taking Norco? Is it always at a 3 hour interval from taking it?
