Palpitations

Hi ive been taking naproxen for 2 weeks one 500g twice a day. I have had to stop these as i have started to get palpitations which scared me, iam wondering if these will stop, i did phone my doctors and was just told to stop taking them but i am going back because these palpitations are scary and have never had any thing like this before i took these tablets

How long are they lasting?

If they are just brief episodes, there is usually nothing to worry about, though I've also had it happen, so I do understand how terrifying they can be.

Naproxen is an NSAID and this class of medications can cause them in some people, but did your doctor do any tests to make sure the medication was causing them?
