Hi, Lynn! Sorry about the pain that you're in, I really hate to see anyone miserable.

However, it isn't likely that you're going to find a doctor to just prescribe you medications, without wanting you to have tests done, as well. Due to the new regulations that have been put in place, they must have a valid reason for prescribing such medications, if they don't, they risk losing their license to practice medicine.

The best suggestion I can make is to contact your local hospital and ask them to connect you with their social work department. In many cases, they have lists of resources that can help you find a less expensive doctor and/or how to apply for assistance to get any tests the doctors may require.

Does anyone else have any ideas to add?
