Pain Meds And Pregnancy

I have a friend that I'm worried about. She has been taking methadone, oxycodone and methamphetamine. She is 2 weeks away from having her baby... She has said her whole pregnancy that she was gonna quit. I found out that wasn't true. Is her baby gonna be addicted when she has her baby or will 2 weeks be enough time to get the medicine out of her baby's system? I'm so upset with this issue but I just have to know will the baby be ok?

She really needs to inform her doctor, before she goes into labor. There is a risk that the baby will be born addicted and a sudden withdrawal now could put both her and the baby's lives in danger, as reported by the NIH.

Additionally, if there would be complications that require treatment, her doctor needs to be aware of what she's been taking, otherwise that could also put her in grave danger. There could be serious complications if she would require anesthesia or other medications.
