Pain Medication In S Nj Fibromyalgia

I am 25, 120lbs 5'6". healthy. and told I have fibromyalgia. I am looking for a doctor that will understand that my joint pain keeps me from living a normal life. anyone know of a doctor that cares about us? and wont tell me to eat healthy and exercise. bc that's a bs answer for me anymore.

Hello, Katie! How are you feeling? Sorry that you're so miserable, especially at such a young age.

Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, then having them refer you to a specialist will most likely be the best way to find the help you need.

New regulations were put in place this year restricting what general practitioners and surgeons can prescribe for pain, how long they can prescribe it, how much they can prescribe and why they can prescribe it, with only a few very strict exceptions.

Does anyone know of a good doctor in that area?
