There is nothing available close to Oxycodone that does not also carry the risk of being habit forming.
There are some nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories that are fairly potent and available via prescription, but they will not match the pain relieving power of Oxycodone. The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
Why do you think it has become a habit? Have you been taking more than you are prescribed?
