All pain doctors treat pain, some just do it in different ways. One might prescribe medications, while another prefers to use other therapies. So, there's no way to guarantee what any given doctor will do, or if they will or will not prescribe anything.

Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone?

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?
