Pain Clinic For Oxycodone Houston

Hello, I live in the Houston area. I suffer constant back pain due to Scheuermann's Kyphosis and arthritis. I was prescribed Norco 10/325 for about 2 years and it just was not effective enough to control the pain. Just getting out of bed or performing daily tasks is a struggle. I don't have insurance but can procure a copy of my x-rays and MRI. I really need to find an affordable doctor who will be willing to allow me to try stronger meds such as oxycodone (which don't contain dangerous additives like acetaminophen as well). I am looking for information here to hopefully save time and money in my search. Any useful information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, Rocky! How are you? I am very sorry that you're in pain.

However, the issue here is that due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. None of them are going to be cheap and, due to the risk of doctor shopping, most will not prescribe such strong medications to an uninsured patient.

Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, they may be able to refer you to someone and that could pave the way for you.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area?
