Oxyg Norco Vikoden Opiates How To Get Off.need Help On Opiates

Hi just wanted to know I've been on opiates for ten years I got tired of it so on Thursday nite I stopped taking anything its Sunday football super bowl day but how long does it take to get out of ur system or at least we're the with drawls stop messing with me a sweat about a pound I just want any advice or answers anything to try to help me out

If you've been taking them for that many years, then it will likely take awhile for all of the withdrawal effects to subside. When I was on pain management for 7 years, it took a little over a month, but the worst of the withdrawal effects only lasted about a week and half.

I found that hot showers or hot soaks in the tub tended to help a lot.

Have you considered getting professional help from a doctor? They could help you taper off slowly.

Good luck with your withdrawals. Drink plenty of fluids, Aleve may help with leg cramps, and it will take about two-thirds weeks for the psyical part then about a month or two for the psychological part. But I do know it can be done. U might want to stay close to a restroom the first 2 weeks, Pepto kinda helps. No spicy food. Find a good friend that will help u thru it because harder going thru it alone!
