What is the new drug op that is substitute for OC .what is the diffence??

I never took the old OCs, but I recently started a low dose at night and these OPs work great for me. I do not wake up feeling like my spine is made of broken glass, so I am thrilled. These posts made me worry about stomach issues, since I have a tender stomach, but so far so good. I am glad I tried them rather than rejecting them because of people complaining about plastic contin. If you really want to crush/chew/abuse your meds, maybe switch to morphine ER? It didn’t do much for my pain when I took it, but I was taking it as directed. Abusers may have better luck.

hate to burst your bubble but I guess I'm pretty damn smart for a geeker but you can get the dope out of them morphine, op's" "water and a spoon and heat it and it will jell up ok let it cool then put about 80units on it heat it as you heat it mix it and the water will take the dope and you got to be fast at drawing it up that's all in joy

I not only agree, but I am totally blown away at the fact that "they" are so blatantly "talking" about their abuse and have no shame in doing so!

YOU, and those like you, are totally responsible for the increase in the abuse related changes to the drugs (not to mention the PRICES) that SO many of us who absolutely cannot function without them due to the horrific PAIN that we have to live with every day of our lives! You should be ASHAMED of yourselves but .... I'm sure you're not because you're only in it for the "high," right? You don't think past yourselves nor the feeling that you get when in fact you're stealing from those who legitimately NEED them to get through the day. What a shame that you're so selfish and can't imagine what it must be like to live day in and day out, 24/7/365 with REAL PAIN! NO.... you're just plain selfish and I hope that you'll never have to REALLY depend on a pain reliever, like most of us (legitimate users), and have to truly experience what it is to LIVE IN PAIN. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ON YOU!

We tried using moonshine and it works good. Chopped them, threw them in a 1/2 shot of moonshine, nuked in microwave for15 secs. The moonshine turned cloudy as it broke down the wax used as the binder. Shots anyone?

Whether they change them or not drug abuse will still be abundant. The abusers have already figured out how to misuse them.. The drug makers should have saved the money and kept the body's the same. We are the largest drug abusing consuming country in the world. You think changing a formula will change anything?

It's oxycontin but it has a gel filled center supposed to the regular hard tablet so people can't crush them and whatever? You feel me?

Absolutely am still experiencing problems from them but scared to stop until I have something else after getting in to see my doctor. Took oc's with great success and without warning they were reformulated into something much less effective which is also causing many other side effects That was just wrong of the FDA and Perdue and I don'think my doctor even knew about it or didn't bother to warn me about it SHAME on them. How can they get away with this? Because of the abusers they are punishing those of us who take the meds the right way and under a doctor's care. We suffer every day from chronic pain and I don't see how they can get away with changing the medication on us with no warning and now we are being undertreated because of the decrease in effectiveness and the many side effects from it.

I would certainly like to know how you people on here that are abusing this medication are getting them. I can't imagine a legitimate doctor prescribing them for you.

I blame all of you who just want to get high for making it harder for those of us (me) who simply want PAIN RELIEF! If you want to get high, go to your local neighbor"hood"s street corner and get yourselves some H (I hear it is very similar) and stay away from the rx oxy! You people are the ones who have/are screwing it up for the rest of us who have legitimate and many times excruciating pain and have no other recourse. You have also forced the price higher because they had to come up with a new formulation to protect against abuse therefore no generics will be available for years to come and the cost now eats up more than a third of my ss disability income. So, you see, your high has now become my low and I am now paying indirectly for your recreational drug. You should ALL BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!

i also have been having problems with the ops. since ive been on them ive coughed up gel balls and am also having breathing problems which i see a doctor for. no one seems to no whats wrong. The ocs never seemed to cause me any problems and worked good for me, gave me some of my life back!

I took a few of the new 20 about a week ago ended up I'n er witha asthma oh snorted pills ate pills of all sizes for years never happens befor took 3 more 5 days ago the next day couldn't beath and now I'm laying I'n hospital again this time they kept me over night I read comments on here and a few people said they had problems breathing to is anyone else having problems like me too

It appears my body could not matabolize the OP gell and I went into a massive detox. Vomiting any food, a thick gell like phlem was drowning me, all my pain returned and I started passing out after seeing white light I will just go down, my heart rate stays around 40 beats per minite now and I am seeing a cardiologist on thursday to discuss a pacemaker. Who is sueing Pardue? They almost killed me. I went 6 years without serious painmeds after being hit by a drunk driver. When my doctor gave me oxys I finally had my life back. Then without warning they changed them and I became very ill. as anyone experienced this?.

Listen everyone can say the OP's help them but I've had 3 surgey's and internal bleeding in my head on my left temple and some short- term memory loss, and they dont help nothing like the OC's did they helped alot better.. I'm on the 60's and the new one aint worth a s***!!!

I Been an legit user of the Oxycontin 80mg for 5 years. It has worked great, and gave me my life back after taking other drugs that were making me sicker, were not for pain, or to treat chronic pain with for 4 years!

It's been 2 weeks today that I continue to take the Oxycontin new pill. I Am SICK!
These side affect's do NOT GO AWAY! - It's been 6 days no sleep!

No one was warned - No-one! - but they know where to sell it!

I read it was going to be changed, and they took something out that was part of the withdrawal symptom. I thought it would go away, but it does NOT! You crap like a goat, grow a ugly rash on the inside of your upper legs, that the doc said was a fungus. Can't sleep, think right, shake, messes with breathing, no appetite, sweat, itch, and I'm sure there's more! If your depressed, it makes it 10 X worst! Suicide thoughts are bad! - Have to shower every 8 or so hours.

None of this medication was ever tested on a human being!!!!!!!
If it was, then this is what they would of found ->POISON!!

I look on line and I found many with the same complaint. It's not humanly possible to continue to ingest this medication, from what I read that it has a compound of plastic in it!


They could of never tested these on a Human, before shipping them out. Looks good under the microscope let-em go! - POISON!

If u want to get all 80mg's delivered at once, do some research into what chemicals break the pill down in your stomach and let the pill dissolve in the mixture, and drink

i had several back surgeries... THe OP r for real ppl in pain.. The stomache acid breaks it up. put a pill cut up in fours in shot glass of cola and drink u will be outta pain ASAP
