Hello, Tami! How are you?
Oxycontin is the name brand for the time released formulation, so none of it is available as a regular release formulation.
The regular release formulations of Oxycodone would be OxyIR or Roxicodone, both of which are also available as generics. The OxyIR, which is an instant release is only available in 5mg capsules. However, the regular release is available in 5, 7.5, 15 and 30mg tablets.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
This is just for Oxycodone, by itself.
Is there anything else I can help with?
