Oxycodone is usually detectable between 2 and 7 hours after taking it.
And yes, if they are checking your levels of it, rather than just checking for the presence of the opiate, then they will know that you aren't taking them as prescribed, because your levels will be too low.

And if you're taking Oxycontin, then it isn't safe to cut it in half, because that may result in your getting far too much of the medication.
