My PM doc changed my med to oxycontin 15 mg every 12 hour with oxycodone 5 mg every 8 if needed. Not working great. Only gave me 2 week supply with appt.As opposed to the usisland 30 day no appt. At the end of the 2 werks. As he has been resistant to all suggestions including from staff,do you think the 2 weeks is because he might be willing to increase?

No one can know the mind of your doctor, but it is a possibility. When do you see them, again?
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
It's common to have patients come in more frequently, at first, to work with the dosages to see what gets their pain under control.
