I usually get 120 10/325 for $67 using a free prescription savings card. Today I picked up my prescription and it was $102! Pharmacist told me that was due to a recent shortage. My 120 15mg jumped from $37 to $62. There are plenty of free pharmacy cards you can print or download. Here in az they have issued one. You don't have to qualify but you can only use if you don't have insurance. Saved me almost $360 between both pain pills.
Hi Red,
From what I've heard, Neeter is right about the recent shortage linking to the price jump. However, like he said there are also numerous prescription drug savings cards out there that you can use to help take the edge off. This site even has an Rx discount card that you can print out as well.
You should be able to save anywhere from 15 to 75% off your prescriptions, but I'm not sure what factors they use to determine how much of a savings you actually get; although I have a feeling it's probably specific to certain types of medications.
Have you tried checking the prices at any other pharmacies in your area?
Are you still noticing the price of your pain meds jumping all over? Or has the problem stopped? I was using some of the RX discount cards that people were telling you about, and it was helping a lot.
My 40 mg oxy x 60 = $565.00. It was 250ish.
