You are exactly right Molly. We all have to pay for the abuse of medication that We truly need.

If you can drive to New Hampshire I would recommend interventional spine medicine In rye or Barrington. They kept trying to push fentanyl patches on me when oxycodone worked just fine.
I say if the people that are dumb enough to overdose on opiods which are usually street drug addicts, they deserve it. We shouldn't be punished because some homeless druggie died. They need to look at people who are in chronic pain. I can barely work any more and the pain is so bad I don't even know what to do. The dr is more concerned about the strict regulations than helping his patient!! Me
People need to march and hold rallies and protests! I think it needs to stop, people kill people! Guns don't kill people and opiates, don't kill people, march to loosen the laws raise money to loosen the laws! Start United States poppy fields! The hospital will loose the creditably, no jobs for doctors and nurses that is the real issues! That is there fear I belief so they got people brainwashed into becoming addicts!
I think that you will not find a walk-in clinic. Governor Charlie Baker and his helpers forgot about people in genuine chronic pain, many in danger of suicide. Finally, they did say something about keeping long-term CP patients on medication, but by then, it was too late to do any good. Mainly, the doctors are afraid of the DEA. The federal agents are concerned about staying powerful and keeping their jobs. To accomplish these goals, they have to exaggerate the problem and to stay out of trouble, your terrified physician will parrot them. Here are three possible options: 1. Medical marijuana, now legal in the state and a specialty. It's expensive and it may or may not work for your pain. 2. The Brigham & Women's has a pain clinic which may or may not prescribe opioids. This probably should be # 1 and you won't know until you get there how they are willing to treat you. You might also try the Mass. General 3. A Methadone clinic for those addicted to most drugs, and 4. Network among friends, acquaintances and any medical specialists you happen to know - from casual professional visit to close relative. 5. If your pain becomes unbearable, you can try an emergency room. Some will be more sympathetic than others -- ask around. DON'T take online mail-order meds - these can be deadly; same with drugs sold on the street.
My name is Ashanti. I have 5 vertebrae compression fractures, sciatica, and pain from nerve damage and muscle deterioration from a previous stroke. I'm having a very difficult time finding a doctor who will write for oxy 30's and soma. I'm in Tucson Arizona. Does anyone know a doctor here that does? Thank u.
Ya your right I have just started to get my doses lowered per month I'm in same boat but that's the government again there not in pain bunch of bull what do we do ?????
I'm in need of pain doctor asap. I'm in Lexington KY.
I have tried just about every thing nature has to offer! I bought a total of 10 lbs of foreign poppy seeds, and so many more things it's crazy. Nothing works
I'm sorry, but I think it's sad that we have to go through all these hoops & suffer from severe pain when I know people get these pain meds just to sell them cause they don't need them! There are so many ways to get them illegally, but those of us in pain try to do things the right way & suffer because of those *****s out there messing things up! It's not fair to the rest of us that are in pain and need it.... I'm missing out on so much w/ my kids cause of all this pain and it truly does suck.... Just my opinion!!!
Hello, Jeff! How are you doing? I'm very sorry that you're in pain.
However, such clinics no longer exist. Due to increasing rates of abuse, as well as improper prescribing and over prescribing, strict regulations have been put in place regarding the prescribing of such medications.
If you require fast pain relief, you can try going to an ER, or you will need to wait and see your regular doctor, so they can advise you on what to do next, such as seeing a specialist.
Is there anything else I can help with?
