Oxycodone In Abingdon, Va Or Near By
UpdatedI recently moved to Abingdon, Va, and I have degenerative disc disease. Pain under control with 15 mg -30 mg oxycodone and cervical epidurals. Cannot find a prescribing doctor in this area. Please help. Have had to fly out to Colorado 3 times to get meds and procedures.

What type of doctor are you trying to see in VA?
To continue receiving treatment for ongoing, chronic pain, you'll need to see a pain management specialists, due to the new laws that were put into effect at the start of the year.

Since medications, such as Oxycodone, are so dangerous and habit forming, restrictions have been placed on how long a generic practitioner or surgeon can prescribe them.
Does anyone know of a doctor they can recommend in that area?
Saw a pain specialist at a Pain Management Clinic called Lensgraf in Knoxville. They required a drug test before they do anything. No biggie. A dip stick for all panels showed negative. Then they billed Medicare $683 for an unnecessary lab test. This new law in TN is a license to steal for these pain clinics. This is why Medicare is going broke. The total bill for 2 visits-nothing done to help my pain-was well over $7000! These places are obscene & crooks, but as of 1 Jan 2012, chronic pain patients have no choice in TN. They cannot continue to receive the quality care they would from their PCP. Shame on their short sighted legislature."
After getting new insurance, i need to find a doctor that will have no issues with current meds of oxycodone 30mg, morphine 15 mg, clonazepam 1mg and others....i have 11 issues and live in terrible pain. Current doc has no problem with prescriptions but i can not pay 100% of doc appt. I need doc in state of Virginia that i can see regular. I live in the Wytheville VA area ( 24323) . Anyone know of a doctor or clinic i can go to? Any suggestions are appreciated. I cant do without meds. Ty
Lol degenrative disc disease is nothing everyone has that to some extent and oxycodone is not needed for that. Ive had eight spine surgeries and know a lot about this. Your just seeking drugs with that diagnosis
