Oxycodone Headaches

In Aug. of 2016, I fell and broke my arm. I took Oxycodone for pain for about 3 months. It was the best sleep I'd had in 13 years (since my son passed away). Then my doc took it away. On Feb. 13, 2017, I had a trigger finger repaired and he gave me Oxycodone again. This time, I have a headache and trouble sleeping. Why is this? Oh and I only take it at night. If I take it more than that, I get very sick and sweaty. Thank you.

Those can be normal side effects of this medication, so your body may have changed with age, causing you to experience them, now, though you didn't before.

The FDA also warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and you may also experience dry mouth, and constipation.

How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
