Oxycodone Hcl Possible Side Effects

I have Hepatocellular Carcinoma, (liver cancer). My doctor put me on Oxycodone HLC, starting me out on 5MG tab and increasing as the cancer and pain progress. Right now I am on 10MG's but I believe 15MG's are in the very near future. I despise Opiates of any kind personally. So far so good with the small dosages, but as the MG's increase am I going to end up nauseous and sick like with Morphine and other Opiate medications?

It is possible, but not very likely, if you're not already having those side effects. They would be much more likely to occur with a larger dosage jump. They are most likely to be mitigated for you, since you're gradually increasing, as needed.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
